ANY IDEA WHO SAID THIS? “I mean, can you ask for more? The last putt to win the Cup, when it's that close? History was just made, to win here in front of the Scottish -- this crowd, to be here most of all. I could never in a million miles dream (indiscernible). This is it.”

BRAIN TEASER: How many players have shot a sub 60 round on the PGA TOUR?

SOME NO NAMES MAKE BIG NOISE: Another PGA TOUR season has begun. It has set a blazing pace. Kevin Chappell tied the PGA TOUR record for most consecutive birdies in a single round with nine in a row (Nos. 11-1) en route to 11- under 59! Joaquin Niemann produced his career low score (62) in his 44th event and 148th round on Friday. He went on to become the first player from Chile to win on the PGA TOUR.  Coupled with Matthew Wolff’s victory at the 3M Open, this is the first year (not season) since 1931 that the TOUR has had multiple winners under the age of 21 (Chuck Kocsis, Ralph Guldahl, Tom Creavy in 1931). What will next week bring?

THE KID IS ALL RIGHT! Viktor Hovland’s 6-under 64 in the final round of the 2019 A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier marks his 17th consecutive round in the 60s tying Bob Estes for longest consecutive rounds in the 60s on the PGA TOUR since 1983.
