Srixon, acquired earlier this year by Cleveland Golf, is putting it’s money where it’s mouth is in the form of an aggressive promotion. The company announced a new “Money Back Guarantee” on any Srixon’s golf balls. ”If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of your Srixon ball, we will refund your money,” said Greg Hopkins, President / CEO of Cleveland Golf / Srixon. ”I think this makes a pretty strong statement about our faith in the performance of Srixon balls. We know that seeing is believing and we truly believe that once you play Srixon balls, they’ll become your golf ball of choice.”
The Srixon “Money Back Guarantee” offer applies only to current in-line Srixon golf balls purchased between September 1, 2008 and December 31, 2009. This offer is limited to one redemption per household or name; no organizations, and is limited to U.S. and Canadian residents only. The “Money Back Guarantee” promotion expires and all return packages must be returned by December 31, 2009. For more information on Srixon’s “Money Back Guarantee”, please visit
And as chance would have it, the company just
happens to have a couple of new products it
introduced on the exact same day it revealed its
guarantee. The new SOFT FEEL and SOFT FEEL
LADY golf balls are included in the Money Back
Guarantee, which is an interesting strategy to
encourage consumers sampling of the products.
“The new SOFT FEEL and SOFT FEEL LADY golf
balls are manufactured to meet the needs of
different player types,” Hopkins said. “They not
only offer improved distance and feel but we can
honestly say that there isn’t another line up in the
market that can compete with Srixon’s offering.
The fact that we’re willing to back up our claim
with a money back guarantee just shows how
much we truly believe in the superiority of Srixon
golf balls.”
The two-piece SOFT FEEL golf ball is designed for
golfers with slightly slower swing speeds, the company said, while the two-piece SOFT FEEL LADY golf ball is designed specifically for what else but women. The new balls will be available in golf shops and golf specialty stores on September 15, 2008 and will carry a Minimum Advertised Price of $19.99 per dozen.
