The Ballistic Mesh will not stretch over the life of the shoe, according to the company but it promises more support than what leather offers. It is considered extremely breathable and the mesh is treated with a Repel DuPont Teflon brand finish that offers a lasting stain and water resistance feature, while ensuring dry feet no matter the weather conditions, according to Nike Golf.
The Air Zoom TW 2009 has a lateral stabilizer located above the outsole, which is intended to prevent roll during weight transfer and enhance balance and therefore a more powerful swing.
