Home HOW SWEDE IT IS:

Henrik Stenson has an unusual pre shot routine that paid some huge dividends. The Swede decided to turn a club upside down and swing it a couple of times before he prepared to hit his next shot. After winning the Players, Stenston was asked what was the purpose of the drill. “ I really paint the path of the swing, and it's easy to do that without the resistant of a club head,” he explained. “Then I can obviously get the same feel from turning the club upside down, and it just gets me on plane. I did that when I won the World Cup with Robert (Karlson) in November and Sun City tournament in December. I didn't do it earlier in the week, but I just kind of picked up the feel again on the range (prior to the final round) and went out and played again as I did in Sun City.” It certainly worked for him as his take for winning the Players was a cool $1.7 million. Who said there is a recession?
