Home DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN:

A new year, a new equipment set that incorporated a new rule change for grooves and for Geoff Ogilvy, it turned out to be the same old, same old. The defending champion began 2010 as he did in 2009 by winning on the island of Maui. Over the past eight rounds of competition at the Plantation Course at Kapalua, Ogilvy is 46 under par. He was 22 under in 2010 using his new set of Titleists.
According to Ogilvy, the Cobra irons he played in 2009 conformed to the rule change as does his 2010 Titleist specs. “My only different groove clubs are my wedges,” he explained after his 2010 win.
