Golf has its way of doing business. It's unique in some ways and yet pretty basic in others. While the world today is filled with cell phones, text messages, tweets and Facebook entries, word of mouth (mouth being the operative being the word!) still does the trick.

Hopkins Golf has implemented a customer referral program to help market the upstart brand. Not exactly a mobile app, but it could be more effective! As part of the program, customers are incentivized to share Hopkins Golf with friends and when they do, both the referrer and the recipient receive benefits. 

The way the program works is anyone can log onto, regardless if they are a current customer or not, and register for an account. Once they do they can share Hopkins Golf with friends and family. The recipient get's $20 off on each wedge they purchase and the person who did the sharing get's a $20 credit in their Hopkins Golf account for each of those wedge purchases as well. Account credit can be used basically as cash for any merchandise found at
