Home TAYLORMADE HAS MORE COMING

TaylorMade is adding the AeroBurner Irons, AeroBurner Mini Driver, AeroBurner Soft Golf Ball and AeroBurner Pro Golf Ball to its 2015 portfolio of products. The AeroBurner irons, TaylorMade said, are built for distance through speed. The new iron features an “up-to-the-limit COR face design” engineered to maximize ball speed off the clubface. The irons also feature TaylorMade’s Speed Pocket technology. “The AeroBurner iron breaks the mold of the typical distance iron and brings distance to all golfers,” said Tomo Bystedt, TaylorMade’s Director of Product Creation. “Never before has up-to-the-limit COR speed and distance been delivered in such an easy-to-play and confidence-inspiring package. Distance has now come to all golfers.”

Available at retail on Wednesday, March 18, AeroBurner irons are available in 8-piece sets and are equipped with stock REAX 88 High Launch steel shafts ($699) or AeroBurner REAX 60 graphite shafts ($799) in stiff, regular, senior or ladies flex.

AeroBurner Mini Driver, a 253cc metalwood equipped with a 43.5” shaft, is designed to deliver even more speed and forgiveness, according to the company, than the SLDR Mini Driver, which was engineered for players who commonly drive with their 3-wood. The Mini Driver is looking to be two clubs in one; a driver alternative or a 3-wood replacement. “The SLDR Mini Driver captivated golfers on all skill levels by delivering better 3-wood performance from the tee,” said Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade’s Senior Director of Metalwood Creation. “With AeroBurner, we’ve now designed a metalwood that delivers even more speed and forgiveness to this new, popular club type.”

Available at retail on March 27th, the AeroBurner Mini Driver will be available in two models; standard and TP. Consumers will have three loft options (12°, 14° & 16°) to choose from. The standard model retails for $279 and is equipped with a lightweight Matrix Speed RUL-Z 60 shaft. The TP model (12° & 14°) retails for $349 and features a Matrix’ new Ozik White Tie 70X4 shaft.

Also on the way are AeroBurner Soft and AeroBurner Pro golf balls. “AeroBurner Soft combines the speed and distance off the tee that golfers need with the soft greenside stopping power that they crave,” said Mike Ferris, TaylorMade’s VP, Golf Ball and Accessories. “This ball is a distance ball that actually stops. It’s for most golfers who only hit 4 greens a round of golf. This can be a real par saver.”

The AeroBurner Pro is a three piece ball promises high ball speeds and “pro-like stopping power,” according to the company. Both AeroBurner Soft and Pro golf balls are available now at retail for $19.99 and $26.99 per dozen, respectively.
